WOW! What can I say about St Davids other than SUCH AN EPIC TURNOUT!

We had around 120 people show up for the Whitesands Splat & Splash. I made so many friends there and came away with stories that will stay with me for a lifetime.

I heard about Wally the Walrus, who showed up one day in Tenby. He was lost from his herd and seemed to seek refuge within the local community. I thought his story was so fitting for the whole concept behind my campaign — lost people coming to my gatherings in the hope of finding friendship, connection and a community of their own.

Also, I painted him while I was in Liverpool… and I still can’t get that Beatles song out of my head. Haha!
