This painting was inspired by an omen.

One evening in blackpool whilst entertaining a new friend in my van on a cold rainy night with a the hob burning on my stove to make us cozy a little ladybird came to visit us. After removing her for the second time, she somehow found her way back inside again. At that point, I thought, okay… you can stay!

Apparently, ladybirds are a sign of good fortune, so it felt like a lovely little moment of magic during the tour.

....Also thank goodness for my co2 alarm. I learned to be careful using the hob for heating the van
