Rain Glass

My mental health has a been a bit cloudy lately, I received so much therapy painting this on the beach in the rain and wind. I felt like I was painting my mood and as the clouds cleared and the sun came out those feelings were just a memory on the canvas in front of me. It turned out to be a very beautiful day and I even got back in the ocean to surf those perfect glassy waves when I finished this piece.

I’m working on these mini pieces right here on a beach in Bali, integrating them into a meditative practice I’ve embraced for self-care. I’m also inviting passersby to join me in painting, offering them a chance to create their own picture for free. I’ve set up an extra easel and canvas right beside me.
